Buying a peggo Card Online

How do I buy a peggo card online?
In order to buy a card online you'll first need to create a user account. See above - How do I register my peggo card online - for details on creating a user account.

Once you've created a user account you'll need to choose the Buy a card option. Next select the fare option you want to load on your card and then click the checkout option. Your card will be mailed out to you within 14 days.

Loading my peggo Card

How do I load fares on my peggo card?
To load fares on your card you'll need to log in to your account. You can do this by clicking on the Sign In link. If you haven't created an online account yet, click to Sign Up.

Once logged in you'll be redirected to the Manage My Card page. Click the Load My Card button on the right hand side of the page. A pop up window will open with two drop down menu options - one for e-pass and one for e-cash.

Select the fare option of your choice and click Add to Cart. You can have more than one fare type on your card at a time but you will need to add each fare option separately. Once you have the fares you want click the blue checkout button in the top right of your page.

Choose your payment method with either a debit card or a credit card. Once you have made your fare payment you will receive a payment confirmation email within 48 hours to the email account you have linked to your user ID.

It is important to know:

  • Fares loaded online or by phone are not active on your card right away. A confirmation email will be sent to your email account within 48 hours to confirm when the fares you have loaded will be available for use.

  • If you intend to set up an auto reload you will need to pay for your fare products using a credit card rather than debit online.

Using the fares on my peggo Card

When can I use the fares I load on my card?
Fares loaded online or by phone are not available for use right away. It can take up to 48 hours before these fares are active on your card.

If you need to load fares and use your card right away, visit one of our retail sales agents or customer service centres. Fares loaded in person at one of our retail sales agents or customer service centres are active on your card right away.

Reloading my peggo Card

How do I set an auto reload?
Auto reloads allow you to set the fare option that is best for you and have it automatically reload without having to log in and load your card. An auto reload automatically loads your fare option four days before your current pass is set to expire or when your e-cash balance drops below $7.00.

You must register and use your peggo card before you can set an auto reload.

Once you have registered and used your card you need to log in to your peggo account. You'll be redirected to the Manage My Card page.

Click View Products on Card to reveal the fare products you currently have loaded on your card. On the right hand side of the fare product you have on your card you will see a grey box that says Reload Off. Click this box to activate the auto reload option. The box will have changed to blue and will say Reload On. You have now turned your auto reload on and it will stay active until you decide to turn it off.

To turn off an auto reload, log in to your account, click the blue Reload On button which will turn grey and say Reload Off. You have now turned your auto reload off and it will stay off until you decide to turn it on.
